LOOK: Former Drug Queen's House Turned Into Rehabilitation Center


INSPIRING – The three-storey house of Evita Ebora in Bulacan has been turned into a rehabilitation center that now caters its first 30 clients.

Dependency on drugs have always been taken as one of the greatest challenges that users should combat. Getting over that dependency is as life-changing as drugs has messed up the good life in stored for every person.
inspiring personality that may no longer be familiar to today’s generation is Evita Ebora or Angelica Gallaron-Caspo in real life.
Ebora has been linked to drugs in the 1990s but eventually tried to change her life and found the path to abandon it.
In a recent news report in Inquirer, the now retired starlet’s home in Bulacan has been turned into a rehabilitation center that now caters 30 drug patients as its first clients.
Now named Bahay Pagbabago and recently opened by Mayor Ambrosio Cruz Jr., the three-storey house of Ebora has been foreclosed until the government has acquired ownership to it.
“We selected the house for a drug rehabilitation center because the story behind it is very inspiring. Its former owner was a drug queen and we know Evita’s life improved when she abandoned drugs,” said the Mayor as stated in the news report.
The report also entailed the statement of Ebora’s stepfather, Dario Mendoza, on how she is doing now. Mendoza shared, “After her cases were dismissed, we counseled her and encouraged her to leave that life. She heeded our advice and she now lives a drug-free life.”
