WARNING: GRAPHIC VIDEO Quezon Boulevard Blast


MANILA, Philippines — At least 11 individuals were injured after a reported bombing in Quiapo, Manila on Friday evening.
 
PNP National Capital Region chief Director Oscar Albayalde, who is now at the blast site to inspect the aftermath of the explosion, confirmed the number of injured as of 12:37 a.m., radio reports said.
 
In a series of tweets, Sen. Richard Gordon, also the chairman and chief executive officer of Philippine Red Cross, said that his organization received a report on the bombing. Police officers said it occurred at 10:49 p.m. along Quezon Boulevard in Quiapo.
 
Gordon said the PRC transported two patients to Jose Reyes Medical Center and one to Philippine General Hospital.
 
He assured the public that firetrucks and additional ambulance are on standby for assistance.
