According to government authorities, Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) in Iligan City distributed 5,000 food packs to the Philippine Army and PNP personnel in Marawi City on Sunday, June 18, in time for the celebration of Father's Day.

The provision of food packs to the soldiers and police officers in Marawi City, according to Jollibee is part of the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) by implementing programs that address access to education, livelihood development, leadership development and disaster response.

Major Malvin Ligutan, Executive Officer of the 51st Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army lauded the efforts of Jollibee for distributing food packs to government troops.
